Woo! Personal (ish) piece! Done in between all the NDA work I can't show off yet as a thanks to my bro for building me a swanky, sexy pc. This is his Summoner/amateur haberdasher with a penchant for lava beasts and pits, he is great at parties.

Had a free evening today so I painted a critter! Pretty inspired by some of the amazing art from evolve and the wonderfully pointy denizens of Shear I think, those guys got it right.

About 3 or 4 hours in PS CS6

I'm not dead! Finally finished this one up after having it on my HD for about 3 months. This is another RPG character illustration for an upcoming game. The idea was that he is basically a bashy cleric of Pharasma but without the qualms about using your skeleton after you are done with it. Sort of a Charon/Davy Jones type. Shout out to exotic weapon proficiency for letting you one hand that Bastard sword lol

Tried to focus on slowing down and getting some nice layers of detail, there is still a lot I would likely fix and mess with but I think its time I called this one done haha.

Hello all! Sorry for the radio silence lately, just wanted to give a quick update to let you all know that I am currently working on a rather large set of pieces (more on that later), so commissions are going to be closed for a while. I will be sure to update my page when they are open again, so watch this space!

I recently did some work for the lads making the Fate of Alduura board game. The project doesn't have any official links or release info but I was given the go ahead to put these up anyway. :)
These were some pretty quick landscape concepts to help flesh out the world of the setting, pretty happy with how they turned out considering the turnaround time on each.

I have a question. I have this ranger character that lives in an all-winter world. So where would her quiver go? 46 LU'THEA; BODY CONCEPT 7c by TheSkaldofNvrwinter

The cloak seems too bulky to have it over it, and under it would never work.

If you don't want the extra strap going over the cloak the next best place to put it would likely be a belt hung quiver like so. Another option might be to have some slits in the cloak for the straps to go through on a back mounted quiver, I believe there are some LotR costumes that do that when they aren't simply wrapping them around the edges.

I was thinking of this, but I'm not sure it's realistic: quiver high on the hip--as your link showed--and the scabbard slung lower on the hip. She's tall and long-limbed, but the sword is a two-hander. I did research on how long longswords are, and the blade itself would come up to her groin--if the tip was resting on the ground--at least, so it's a hefty weapon. I was thinking the scabbard would also be hindered by the heavy furred cloak. I'm SURE there's some such reference SOMEWHERE on the net lol. Showing a ranger type in heavy winter gear.
